Mice thrive on farms where they feast on corn, wheat, oat and other cereals. Found everywhere on the planet and cunning as they are, mice feed on anything they find.

Reproduction

Mating can occurs throughout the year. The female produces 5 to 15 litters of 5 to 12 young per year, which are altricial. Gestation lasts for 18 to 21 days. The house mouse becomes sexually mature between the ages of 5-6 weeks.

Alimentation

Omnivorous, feeding on grains, cereals, mushrooms, fruits, vegetables, waste, insects and meat.

Prédateurs

The house mouse has many mammal and bird predators.

Longévité

In nature, 1 to 2 years and up to 6 years in captivity.
