For many years, China has been the largest importer of Canadian wool (70% of our production). The rest of the production is sold in the US, India, Western Europe and to local plants.
Reproduction
From the age of 6 months, males and females can mate throughout the year depending on the breed. After a gestation period of about 5 months, the sheep gives birth to 1 or 2 lambs.
Alimentation
Herbivore, eats grass, hay and dry feed.
Longévité
10 to 12 years.
