Nubian donkey

In all of human history, the donkey remains, after the bull, the most common pack animal, used by humans as a means of transporting loads sometimes up to 100 kg.

Reproduction

From the age of two, mating takes place from November to March. After an approximate12 month gestation period, the female generally gives birth to only one baby which will be weaned around 5 months old.

Alimentation

Herbivore, feeding on grasses and other plants.

Prédateurs

Human and wolf.

Longévité

Around 30 years.
